I've been finding her to be better than any of the other slow USN BBs for Co-Op. I'm likely to get the ship for a port queen and historical ship. She's too slow for Co-Op but what about Operations? Why bring WV'44 from Tier VII when you have AWESOME, much faster Brawler BBs in Tier VIII Ops like Mass, Zieten, Tirpitz, Bismarck, Brandenburg? IMO the only point for WV'44 is historical collection purposes. Who the f*** is going to be scared of a 21kt Brawler? The ones that are vulnerable to secondaries will easily keep out of range and the ones that will absolutely crush WV'44 in a brawl will easily force her into that fight. There's also the fact that she should expect to see a lot of Tier VIII-IX threats. In PVP I laughed at Massachusetts because she was easy to keep out of secondaries range. 9km secondaries range with 2.2 seconds reload.
WV'44's gimmick is Secondaries, believe it or not, for a 21kt BB. Wee Vee '44 is laughably bad with floatier shells and worse penetration. Same tier, Tech Tree BB Colorado, her sister.Īrtillery Chart with both ships. Unless there was a last minute, pre-release change, this should be current. Her gimmick of "Mega Secondaries" on a USN BB platform sounds great until you realize she's Tier VII and goes a whopping 21kts.
